ABOUT

I am an artist and illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan.

I hold a MA in Art and Literature from Leiden University (The Netherlands) next to an MBA from Bologna Business School (Italy). I have been working in the corporate world for more than a decade, until I returned fully to my artistic "roots".

My style is colorful, sweet and positive, I enjoy creating art and illustration that can bring happiness and joy to people. I work with various media such as  watercolors, gansai, Japanese inks, gouache and colored pencils.  While originally inspired by European artists, I see myself now getting inspired by the Japanese art that surrounds me, creating my unique mix between West and East.
